A special thanks to our host Maureen Duncan, and for everyone that attended. A great way to end our Rotary 2016 year!
A very heartfelt and inspirational speech delivered by our District 5340 Governor, Marilyn Sanderson. She shared her personal story of how she joined Rotary and the significance of her experience with Rotary in Nairobi, Kenya. Reminds us of why we are all dedicated Rotarians and how there is no better satisfaction than knowing that we are making a difference.

Join other Rotarians from around District 5340 in welcoming other Rotarians from around the world. For shifts and more information please email Susan (supoore@aol.com) or Alan Rezner (arezner@gmail.com).
- Wednesday, January 18th International Assembly Host Hospitality
We will be responsible for hosting an event for 2 Rotarians from another country (still unknown which country). Possibilities include Hotel Del Coronado, or Harbor Island, or SD Brewery. Poll will be sent via email to take a vote and arrange details.
District 5340 events:
- Saturday, January 7th Ensenada Food and Clothing Donations
Several rotary clubs from around the district do an annual giving of items to underserved communities in Ensenada many of which attend the dental clinics. Maxie Gluckman and Marian Pavlovich will represent our club if have any items to donate please contact either person.

What a lovely way to end the year. Our gracious host, Maureen Duncan, provided a festive holiday atmosphere along with many tasty treats. Marilyn Sanderson's inspirational words remind us all what's it is honestly all about. Just an overall great night.
